Wine & Wishes is holding their 9^th annual event to benefit the Make-A-Wish foundation, March 28 at Pier 60 in New York City.

To this day, the event has raised nearly $4 million for the foundation that grants wishes to children who are suffering from life threatening diseases.

The event kicks off at 6pm and concludes at 10pm with CBS's Chris Wragge as this year's host.  Attendees can sip on some of the country’s finest wines and feast on gourmet food from some of the top chefs in New York.

VIP ticket holders will have access to the “Coveted Corks," which is a private area for drinking and eating.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation began in 1980 after a little boy had a wish to be a police officer.  Since this small wish was granted, the organization has become a worldwide sensation reaching out to more than 250,000 people all over the globe.
