It’s easy to forget that we share this planet with so many other people. Too often we act selfishly, hoarding over land, possessions, and money that we never realize how much we take from the Earth and never give back. Being eco-friendly requires some sacrifices but here, in New York, partying will not be surrendered.
Last Week, one of the City’s only, and most popular eco-friendly nightclubs, Greenhouse, helped celebrate Earth Week by hosting their “Greenhouse Gives Back” campaign. Each night from April 16th to the 22nd, proceeds were given to Global Green, Cans for a Cure, Prospect Park Alliance, American Cancer Society, Riverkeeper, Green Festival, and Plant a Billion Trees, each an environmental or health-based charity.
Nation's Bravest: Firefighters Unite, the first ever national firefighter calendar, features a dozen courageous firefighters from across the U.S. These gentlemen are praised for their work ethic, physical aptitude, and admirable personalities! To represent these twelve men, the calendar will benefit twelve separate charities in Charlotte, Chicago, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, New Orleans, New York, Philadelphia, San Antonio, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Louis and Tampa.
Come out to meet and mingle with these gorgeous and model men as they come together for the first time in NYC for the official launch at Greenhouse USA!

So come out to the Concrete Jungle and give back to the green outside the island of Manhattan.

This New Year’s Eve Party will be hosted at Greenhouse’s 6,000 square foot, bi-level interior that has the ambiance of the most glamorous “tree-house” in New York City. Greenhouse is New York’s first LEED registered nightclub. This is monumental since, “LEED certification is a designation granted by the U.S. Green Building Council for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.” The walls and floors are made of sustainable bamboo and the LED light bulbs only use 1/13th the amount of energy, as compared to a regular light bulb. Electricity for the club and sound system are provided 100% by wind power!
