IN THE HOUSE
Mark Farina Returns to New York

Saxophones, check. Piano rifts, check. Percussion, check. Hip hop sample, check. Muppet voices? You know it.

Introducing Mark Farina, who infused his Chicago-roots with San Francisco soul to create "Mushroom Jazz," a funky melange of the fore mentioned ingredients over a classic house beat, blended at a groovy 100-105 bpm. He's an artist who's been in the industry for so long, dabbling in both the rave scene and the lounge scene, he truly needs no introudction. (For more info, re-direct here.)

Fusing pop art, music, film, theater, dance, and fine art, Le Poisson Rouge has set out with the goal to establish a creative asylum for artists and audiences, and they've definitely done that, plus. With a state-of-the-art performance space and sound system, they're open for just about any arrangement you could dream up.

NEW YORK, NY. (August 17, 2010) --- Joonbug will be hosting the New Year’s Eve 2011 celebration at Le Poisson Rouge! Le Poisson Rouge is one of New York’s hottest clubs and this New Year’s Eve party will not disappoint.

This New Year’s Eve Party will be hosted at Le Poisson Rouge! Le Poisson Rouge is a club unlike many others, with its mix of popular and art cultures in music, film, theater, dance, and fine art. Le Poisson Rouge was founded by musicians who sought to make this nightclub a “multimedia art cabaret.” The club offers the finest acoustics and state-of-the-art performance stage, engineered by the legendary John Storyk/WSDG.
