The Salon-Situated on the second floor of Hudson Terrace, The Salon is a mélange of old and new. Hand-hewed wooden beams from vintage vessels were reclaimed to construct the streamlined edges of this modern venue. The Salon is enabled with state-of-the-art broadcast quality video, audio and lighting capabilities. Hudson Terrace was designed to deliver dreams. The flow can accommodate a myriad of floor plan configurations, transforming 5,000 square feet into a night club, a classic catered ballroom setting for up to 400 guests, or an intimate lunch gathering.
Garden Terrace-The outdoor Garden Terrace is an ideal location for parties of up to 150 guests. The private garden on The Salon level is ideal for hosting brunch, outdoor meetings or moonlit dinner parties.
Rooftop Garden Lounge-Inspired by Palm Springs modern, the open-air Rooftop Garden Lounge is the ultimate urban all-season rooftop venue. Complete with a DJ booth, centralized fireplace and conversation area, the lounge is set upon temperature-regulated mahogany flooring. The rooftop amenities include surround sound, programmable lighting and large projection screening capabilities. Glass enclosed, curtained cabanas are augmented with individually controlled heat and cooling units. The Rooftop Garden Lounge is serviced directly from a rooftop kitchen. Customized catering menus are available for parties of up to 300 guests.

What do you get when you cross Bruno Mars with Cabaret style? The answer lies in the music video and single release party that occurred this past Tuesday night, July 31st, at Manhattan lively nightlife spot Hudson Terrace. Singer Jullian James debuted his first single "My Sweet Radio" along with the accompanying music video.
Over 100 guests were on hand to view the video premiere, along with a special live performance by James and his band. Notable guests included Miss NY Amber Collins, Music Manager Bernadette Brennan, and Sean Gill of The Passengerz. The video and song simultaneously hit YouTube, iTunes, and Amazon. His album entitled "From My Integrated Soul", debuts later this year.
Hudson Terrace. A place where name dropping will come in handy, along with an extra $20 for the door man. It really has changed since it opened in the Spring of 2008.
One thing that was very obvious was the fact that they had a very strict door policy, which was look good, or don't come in. Which I did witness while waiting on line, and then spotted those who were denied entry, ventured across the street to Pacha. To avoid the hassle, make a reservation via email.
With that said, if you missed your helicopter to South Hampton for this Labor day weekend, Hudson Terrace really helped fill the void. With comfortable cabanas lining the windows atop a light wood deck, it really did (somehow), radiate a beach party feeling. This is the type of place you'd see Derek Jeter and Minka Kelly make up.
Last Saturday, acclaimed New York City club Hudson Terrace, opened its daytime doors for their recurring Beer and BBQ Festival. We watched the sun set over the city as we sampled a variety summer beers and BBQ bites. We had tasty spicy chicken and cheeseburger sliders with fries and coleslaw, classic barbeque staples to satisfy our lunchtime cravings. Some of our favorite beers were the Shock Top Raspberry Beer, Blue Moon (duh!), and Goose Island Summertime Beer.

I didn't know that the Saturday’s party at Hudson Terrace was a Single's mixer. Fortunately for me there were a LOT of good and tasty options for a single lady, but of course my priorities were in check. Play the songs first, then play (with) the boys later.
For some reason, I was in the mood to play Eminem's “Love The Way You Lie.” Sonically its beautiful, emotionally its truly intense but unfortunately it's very slow and not 'dance floor friendly'. Eminem is an amazing artist but instead of making us want to shake our booties he just makes us want to sit and listen. I figured, however I could sneak in 1 verse and 1 hook, during the first 20mins, before people were warmed up and ready to dance.
Oddly enough there was one girl that got really into it and she wasn’t exactly ‘subtle’ as to how much she was FEELING this song. She was probably a little tipsy, and I don't think she fully understood the impression she was giving to her potential suitors. If you don't understand what I'm talking about let me just ask. Would YOU want to ask out someone who was emotionally drawn to lyrics like “ I like the way it hurts” or “You push, pull each other's hair scratch, claw, bit 'em throw 'em down” ? (and please note that Eminem is NOT referring to kinky sex here, he is talking about the love of his life).
Kind of seems like a red flag doesn’t it?
