Needless to say, New York City does not contain its fair share of spots to get a decent fish taco. But alas, there is one. Pinche Taquira is hands down the only spot to go to if you are craving a fish taco. Their fish taco has, get this, crunchy, fresh, fried chunks of fish that are not pre-cooked/frozen! On top of that, they use house-made tortillas and top the tacos with cabbage, spiked cilantro, mayonnaise and guacamole. Their taco has everything that you look for in a taco. The crunch, the heat, the flavor, the flake. All of it and all for $3.75. And if you are in the mood for another selection after you indulge in their fish taco, you definitely have to try their shrimp one. It gives their fish taco a good run for its money. Finally, we don’t have to go to California to get a fish taco.
