We always hear of festivals celebrating BBQ, Food Trucks or high end restaurants, but what about something for veg lovers? Well, Vegans, your day has finally come! On June 16 & 17 there will be a two-day festival featuring vegan food vendors, inspiring speakers, pro-veg films, and vegan-inspired activities.
The Seed: A Vegan Experience, is a two day vegan exploration that will get your plant based taste buds going with samples from New York's famed vegan restaurants.
The event welcomes vegan-curious, vegan-skeptical, and vegan choir to explore what veganism has to offer today. Their mission is to enlighten people about the countless benefits of a vegan lifestyle, and will highlight the plethora of new products that are making veganism a convenient and compassionate way of living, all while benefiting Mercy For Animals and our work to protect farmed animals.
The Seed will feature a long list of engaging speakers, including New York Times bestselling authors Kathy Freston and Victoria Moran, Our Hen House's Jasmin Singer and Mariann Sullivan, Dr. Joel Fuhrman M.D., and many more. Dozens of cruelty-free food and other product vendors will also be on-site, including the Tri-State area's premier food truck, Cinnamon Snail, which will be offering samples of their desserts.
