If you enjoy Japanese-style hibachi cooking, than tomorrow is your lucky day. A new food truck called Hibachi Heaven will be making its debut Tuesday in the Financial District somewhere on Water St.
The concept is quite simple- you choose protein (steak, shrimp, chicken, tofu),vegetable and sauce and then it's cooked on a giant hibachi grill in the truck. They will also have white, brown and fried rice to choose from. The dishes range from $7-$9, and you can double the meat or have a combo for an extra $2.
Since this is street food, the owner wanted people to be able to walk around with their meal. To solve this problem, Hibachi Heaven will offer wraps as well as platters.
There isn’t information yet on where they’ll be parked each day, but it looks like they’ll be open at 11:30 a.m. You can follow their progress on Twitter here or on our Mobile Munchies' Twitter feed.
