Made in Brooklyn Sweet Treats
Three best friends are whipping up chocolates that will satisfy your sweet tooth

Jen King and Liz Gutman met at the French Culinary Institute while they were both in the pastry program. They bonded over their love of fresh, high-quality ingredients. In 2009 they went into business together and Liddabit Sweets was born. They’ve recently welcomed Joan Baker to their tight team. With a focus on local and seasonal ingredients, these girls are adding their personal touch to childhood favorites like s’mores and caramel corn.

And just in time for Halloween, you can join them at The Brooklyn Kitchen where they will be teaching folks all about the theory behind cooking with sugar and caramel. Students will also learn how to make caramel apples and caramel corn. The class is Tuesday, October 26 at 6:30. There are still some spots left so hurry and sign up. You can also purchase Liddabit Treats online or at New Amsterdam Market or Dean & Deluca.
