Love the idea of a dinner party, but do not have the space, time, or energy to throw one? Let Vicky and Lysander, Mama's Food Shop, and Sugar Sweet Sunshine do all the work for you. During the month of March, every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7pm and 9pm, Lower East Side storefront, Grand Opening, will host Vicky & Lysander's Dinner Party-- and they'll host your dinner party.

A ticket, at only $40 per person, will buy you a delicious meal, dessert, and vivacious hosts Vicky and her "husband" Lysander. The meal, provided by soul-food restaurant Mama's Food Shop, will consist of a chicken entrée and two sides, mac & cheese and a vegetable; a hearty vegetarian option is also available for those meatless guests. A dessert of cupcakes will be served from Sugar Sweet Sunshine, a Lower East Side bakery that specializes in all forms of cupcakes and cakes. This dinner party is BYOB, so bring whatever drink you desire, but be careful, because unlike your friends, these hosts will toss you out if your drinking turns you into an unruly, chaotic mess.

A dinner party is only as good as the hosts. There is never a dull or silent moment at Vicky and Lysander's hosted dinner parties. Guaranteed to be quite eventful, Vicky and Lysander fill the evening with awkward conversation and inappropriate games, but, come on, how much fun could a dinner party be without it.
