This Park Avenue South seafood establishment has a lot to offer. The décor is that of your typical NYC seafood joint, however there is a "Maryland Crab Eatery" feel to it. Wooden tables and chairs, a nice bar, lobster and crab tanks, upper and lower level seating with a small outside dining option for the warmer of days, and how could it be called City Crab without having a giant crab hanging inside! An interesting note on this restaurant is that their menu has items that change day to day, due to their fresh fare that comes in daily. There is even a raw bar that has patrons surrounding it all times of the day and night. Some stand out items on the menu are their crab cakes, which are very closely related to Maryland crab cakes, the fried oysters over Chevre spinach, as well as the Chef’s special of sage and olive oil rubbed monkfish.

For the lunch buzz, City Crab has a signature “Express Lunch” which runs Monday through Friday from noon to 4 PM. The "Express Lunch" has two courses- ten different choices for $16.95. Not bad considering that seafood dining is generally a bit costly. Paired with a decent wine and beer list, live entertainment, and a bar that gets busier and busier as the night goes on, this seafood eatery is great for groups, lunch, and an after work get together.
