Spiked Eggnog

It's that time of year again when our parents crack out the eggnog that you either love or hate. For those who love it, get psyched for our round-up of the best eggnog cocktails you can find in the city, and for those who hate it, this just might give you a reason to love it!

Gingerbread Eggnog (Served at Highpoint Bistro & Bar)
1 oz. goldschlager
1 ½ oz. bailey's
1 ½ oz. Butterscotch Schnapps
1 ½ oz. vodka
Egg nog


Eggnog Martini (Served at Ed’s Chowder House)
½ oz. Ron Zacapa
½ oz. Jim Beam Bourbon
¼ oz. Benedictine
1 oz. Zabov Zabaglione
1 oz. Half & half
¾ oz. Cranberry Juice
Shake with ice and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a lit nutmeg dust.

Lover's Flip (Served at L’Amant)
1 ½ oz. Pierre Ferrand Cognac
½ oz. Tawny port
¼ oz. of demerara syrup
Whole Egg
Garnish with grated nutmeg.

Eggstreme Nog (Served at Haven Ski Chalet at The Sanctuary Hotel)
½ oz.  Makers Mark
1 oz. Brandy
1 oz. Cayrum
½ oz. Peach Schnapps
1 cup eggnog
Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.  

Exclusiv Vodka's Egg Nog
1 ½ oz. Exclusiv Vodka
¾ oz. B & B
½ oz. white creme de cacao
3 oz. Egg Nog (very cold)
Garnish with a cinnamon stick. Snifter with a 2-5 cubes of ice.
