10th Annual Big Apple Barbecue
The weekend-long event takes place one weekend each June, attracting people from near and far to celebrate America's authentic culinary and musical traditions. Live performances from emerging and established rock, blues, and soul artists take place onstage throughout the day, and some of the country’s most innovative chefs share insights and cooking tips in the Seminar Tent.
Event admission is free, with award-winning barbecue from the country's top pit masters available for $8 plate. Desserts and Beverages may be purchased from $2-$6 only in cash or FastPasses will be accepted.
FastPasses FastPasses are $125 each, and include a $100 value redeemable for food, beverage and merchandise. It allows the holder and one guest exclusive access to express lines throughout the weekend. Limited quantities are available for purchase in advance of the event, while supplies last.
The Big Apple Barbecue Block Party supports the Madison Square Park Conservancy, the organization responsible for the beauty, ongoing maintenance, and programming of this historic park. In 2011, the event made its largest donation ever to the Madison Square Park Conservancy.
