This morning The Squeeze debuted their first bio-diesel food truck made from a repurposed UPS delivery truck. The Squeeze is a wellness and beauty lifestyle company that serves living and organic foods and drinks at catered events throughout New York City. CEO and Chef Karliin Brooks, a former model, lifetime vegan, and animal advocate, wanted to add a healthy and fun alternative to the street food and food truck phenomenon. Starting at 10 a.m., patrons who order a tasty cold-pressed juice, shake, smoothie, or beverage will receive a bonus treat, coconut truffles or a sweet treat.
Karliin’s mission for her catering company, and now the vibrant mobile version that will be on a street corner near you daily from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., has always been focused on bringing her customers “the next level of nutritional consciousness through detox cleanses, super foods, and fresh organic, live produce prepared into gourmet raw meals.” Karliin’s food truck will be serving healthy “fast food” completely dedicated to organic, living foods for a healthier you. Because let’s face it, no matter how delicious it is, we shouldn’t be eating tacos, grilled cheese, and waffles on a daily basis. Now with The Squeeze customers can still indulge in Funyons (with chipotle aioli) without the usual thoughts about what was in those delecatable, used to be an onion three times removed, fried snack food.
The Squeeze’s menu is comprised of home-made breakfast items, soups, sandwiches, entrees, beverages, and a plethora of tasty, good for you snacks and desserts. Using only the most organic and local raw ingredients as possible The Squeeze truck will be offering a wide assortment of foods as Assorted Buckwheat Granola (We can’t wait to try the marzipan flavor!), Sweet Miso Greek Salad, Hot Dogs on multi-grain Sprout Buns with assorted raw toppings, Raw Pressed Juice Pops, House made Raw Pickles, and so much more.
