Looking for a reprieve from the cold and blustery city streets? Nix the haul of traveling to ski resorts and cozy up right in your hometown hub. With spectacular views, amazing decor, and warming drinks, we've rounded up the best winter-friendly rooftops in New York City to keep your winter spirits high and your bellies full.
Haven Rooftop: Recently, the Haven Rooftop turned into a Ski Chalet for the winter. Scurrying through the crowds are sexy ski bunnies, better known as waitresses, serving the perfect cocktails to battle the winter doldrums. Warm up with the Ultimate Irish Coffee, a Candy Cane Martini, and Yule Mule n Shot Ski's with Russian Standard Platinum. To top it off, the place actually looks like a legit ski lodge, complete with snow, Christmas trees, and even skis.
Haven Rooftop is located at 132 W. 47th St. 212-466-9000
Bookmarks at The Library Hotel: This beautiful rooftop lounge has a 360 degree wrap-around terrace with amazing views of the Public Library. Ideal for cold snowy days, the lounge features an enclosed greenhouse solarium along with a sun roof that is fully heated during the winter. Guests can also warm up around the fireplace. Additionally, the rooftop lounge is serving five seasonal cocktails to help you keep warm, including their Pumpkin Spice Latte, Hot Apple Pie, Mistletoe Punch, Cherry Chocolate, and Spicy Expresso.

Upstairs at The Kimberly Hotel: This rooftop lounge is a hot spot destination for New Yorkers all year round. The glass enclosed space is temperature controlled and has an amazing panaromic view of the city, including the Chrysler Building. The lounge still makes you feel like you are retreating from the winter wonderland and stepping into a chic oasis from the hustle and bustle of the city. Gnosh on small plates and seasonal cocktails like the warm Upstairs Cinnamon Apple Cider.

Conosur at Hotel Americano: Winter-themed bars are all the rage this winter, hence why Hotel Americano turned their rooftop into Conosur, a cozy winter haven. The glass-enclosed space has pools heated to hot-tub temps, plenty of sheepskin in the solarium turned dining room and South American eats. Who can deny the chance to 'slum' it in a hot tub while you watch the snow fall outside?
Conosur is located 518 W. 27th St. 212-525-0000
Hudson Lodge: This last one may not be a rooftop, perse, but it is elevated within the Hudson Hotel, making it worthy enough for our list. This recently opened ski-lodge themed bar takes its place within the winter-friendly bar scene seriously. The bar is donned with all the right accoutrements, like fur rugs, taxidermy, and nightly snowfalls. They even serve classic mountain fare like s'more grilled cheese, fondue, and specialty cocktails like the hot buttered rum toddy and Aztec hot chocolate.
Hudson Lodge is located at 356 W. 58th St. 212-554-6217
