He's been a proud vegetarian for the past 20 years, even partaking in a hilarious "vegetarian testimonial" for PETA. So maybe what comes from the earth really is the greatest worth?

Meat eater? As if!
Alicia Silverstone-
This adorable actress certainly isn't clueless when it comes to animal rights.
She has been a vegan for the past ten years, and was 2004's "Sexiest Vegetarian
Alive". Alicia is the author of "The Kind Diet" a book which shows you how
adopting a plant based diet can have you drop pounds, clear your skin, and leave
you with a fabulous new amount of energy. And for that we salute you Alicia.

Stella McCartney
& Sir Paul McCartney- Don't expect to eat meatloaf when you go over the
McCartney's household for dinner! This father-daughter duo has been meat free
for years. Along with not eating meat, this vegan designer refuses to use
leather or fur in any of her collections. Sir Paul has been a vegetarian for
over thirty years, and although he won't be posing naked anytime time soon, he
has worked with the organization PETA in advertisements on trying to help end
animal cruelty.

Fred "Mister" Rogers- It only makes
sense that the most recognizable and friendly face from your childhood would
hold that same kindness to animals. The
host of the iconic children television's show Mister Roger's Neighborhood neither smoked, drank, or ate meat until his death in 2003.

Kim Basinger & Alec Baldwin-
Although these two ended their marriage in the nineties, at least they can
still keep it together for the animals. Kim's love for animals has led her to
become a strict vegetarian and devote her time to animal rights issues, even
posing in the nude for PETA. Alec, also a PETA Activist participated as a
narrator in the documentary Meet your Meat, a film which exposes the truth
behind the dreadful factory farm.

Cool Veggie
Russell Simmons- Co-founding Def Jam Records in the Eighties,
Russell has worked his way to becoming a great influence in the world of pop
culture over the past 25 years. A daily medidator and yogi, Russell credits his
vegan lifestyle to the Hindu and Buddhist practice Ahimsa, or non-violence. He
believes cutting animal products from your diet, will lead you to a happier
life. namaste Russell.

Ellen Denegeres & Portia Derossi- Two years ago this twosome switched to an
all plant based diet out of concern for animals and the environment. Now they
are using their celebrity status to show support for the Healthy School Meals
Act. A bill, which if passed will
