For those of you are living in the Big Apple with nothing more than a dollar and a dream, tonight is your night to experience the magic that is New York City. Rap artist, J. Cole, just announced via twitter that he will be performing tonight, July 15th, at the Highline Ballroom for the mere price of $1.00.
His 2nd annual Dollar and a Dream tour consists of only 6 cities and seats are on a first come, first serve basis. He will be performing songs exclusively from one of his earlier projects: The Warm Up. With the miniscule price of a dollar, all of his shows will sell out.
The fun part about his tour is playing the waiting game. While he announces which city he will be in in advance, fans must wait until the day of to find out the venue. Cole recently tweeted his fans the venue for his NYC show, “Highline Ballroom. 431 W 16th St, New York, NY 10011 Good luck. Be safe.”
His previous tweet leaves hope for those who are not able to attend to tonight’s show or those who who can’t beat the crowd: “Small venue today so 2 shows is a definite.”
J. Cole is definitely an artist who cares about his fans which may explain why he has so many. For those who plan to attend this epic live show, get there early, and bring your dollar bill.
