As if getting organized for fashion week isn’t enough, we are secretly reminded that fashion makers and creators have birthdays too.
Vogue’s Anna Wintour celebrated her birthday last week, Jeremy Scott on Saturday at the Soho Grand and Betsey Johnson will this week. Betsey Johnson & friends sent over an invite, announcing the designer’s 68th birthday party, Wednesday, at her Soho boutique. Our first question: 68? We would have never guessed. The next: Drinks? For, they will be well needed for what’s to come in September.
The good thing, considering Betsey’s spontaneous style, her party is open for everyone and she will be making an appearance. So, come on down for a quick drink, a little shopping and a photo op with the designer in your best funky style and hair. We’ll be waiting.
