Lacoste, a brand synonymous with preppy chic, brings their niche to a new market with a brand new store opening in Soho mall. The 4,700 square-foot space opened this past weekend featuring men’s, women’s, and children’s lines and the most extensive footwear assortment in the country. The “Croc’s new look downtown” is slightly less institutional and a bit more historical behind the cast iron fronted location. Colorful contemporary collections and accessories are plentiful; a 180-degree turnaround from the Footlocker that previously occupied the address. Located on one of the most trafficked streets in New York, the newest venture is expected to rank among the brand’s highest-grossing stores per square foot. The streamlined shopping experience at Lacoste remains and despite our appreciation, we’ve concluded OCD must be a requirement to work there.

Tory Burch’s newest flagship recently opened on Madison Avenue; we’re just wondering what took so long?! Occupying an entire house at 797 Madison, the store is a perfect addition to the block, boasting three floors of coveted Burch merch! “When we first saw the space, it was white and very open, and Daniel Romualdez, our architect, and I thought it would be interesting to do a restoration of what it might have looked like in the 1880s when it was built, and a little inspiration of my apartment, as well,” Burch said of the design concept that also features the classic Tory Burch orange and plum color scheme. An outdoor terrace on the third floor, a fifth floor VIP salon accessible by private elevator, and exclusive select items for purchase, are all perks of shopping the uptown location. Our favorite new addition? The 797 Collection designed in honor of the new venture.

It’s official - Mulberry
is here to stay! This year commemorates the brand’s 40th
anniversary and, following the dedicated showroom at Milk Studios, the first U.S. flagship store has opened on Spring Street. Modern Mulberry meets classic English heritage in the spacious boutique. Paying respect to the location’s original architecture, Mulberry designed the space around tin ceilings, structural columns, and an extended skylight. The Spring Street location takes design inspiration from the London flagship with its use of circular follies throughout, modifying them with 8,000 books that reference the building’s history in the printing district. (designed for and sold exclusively at the SoHo shop,) radiate against the stark white interior. West Village welcomes the new Tocca
boutique in collaboration with Emma Fletcher, previously of defunct label Lyell. Sharing a girly, nostalgic aesthetic, the two team up to venture past beauty. The store will be offering a debut relaunch of ready-to-wear by Fletcher, Tocca lingerie, a children’s line, and of course, the beloved beauty collection. According to Racked NY, “Fletcher describes teak shelves and a communal dressing room inspired by the Hancock Shakers
