Patrons who shop on East 57^th Street of luxury labels hardly have to worry about New York City scaffolding, and all of the dangers and filth that come along with it. So, when something goes under construction (on East 57^th street), New Yorkers can expect to either not notice or be informed by an attractive display.

Dior’s 57^th Street boutique opted for an oversized purse to cover the store,  with a polite note informing consumers about the temporary closing. Since shoppers have still been coming with money to spend, Dior has been even more polite by offering car service to shuttle them uptown to their Madison Avenue store.

Obviously, we call such a deal, shopping and car service, but like many we’ll opt for the latter in this heat – pretending to be eager shoppers.
