Although we hate to admit, we guys put a lot of effort into our everyday looks but sometimes we do get sartorially stumped. For the times when you need a little extra help in putting together the day’s look, we’ve compiled a list of 10 must-read menswear blogs to give you that extra boost of inspiration.
1. Munrowe: Justin Livingston, the editor behind the blog Munrowe, isn’t afraid of incorporating color, print, man jewelry and murses into his every day look. Based in NYC, Justin uploads a different look almost everyday and they’re always spot-on. With a style that ranges from hobo-esque to dapper dandy, Justin provides inspiration for gents of all styles. An interesting feature about Justin’s blog is that he has a bunch of great giveaways that you can enter to win.

2. Grungy Gentleman: Jace Lipstein, editor of the Grungy Gentleman, states that the mission of his blog is to “erase the stereotype that all gentlemen have to be frumpy and grandpa-like” and he certainly accomplishes this point. On his blog Jace has interviews with athletes and some of the leading figures in the men’s fashion scene. Grungy Gentleman reads as a what’s hot in the world of menswear guide. The best way to describe Jace’s point of view on his blog would have to be laid back prep best signified by his purple laced oxfords he’s quite fond of. Jace has been able to turn his love of menswear into a great career having collaborated with Del Toro shoes, Kiel James Patrick and Olsaul just to name a few.

4. Kate Loves Me: Pelayo Diaz of Kate Loves Me is definitely someone everyone should be familiar with. When not writing for the blog he founded in 2007, this recent Central Saint Martins grad spends his time video blogging with Vogue Italia’s Franca Sozzani and collaborating on accessories with David Delfin. Although fresh out of school, Pelayo’s designs have already garnered celebrity attention; in 2009 he designed a dress for Rihanna’s “Hard” music video based on his widely popular safety pin cross t-shirt design. Having been featured in numerous magazines, mainly in Europe, Pelayo is starting to dabble in the American market. With James Dean looks and an adventurous style that can best be described as London edge it seems nothing can stop Pelayo. Going through his blog is the best way to get the sartorial juices flowing. From bleached eyebrows to plaid kilts, you never know what you’re going to get with Pelayo.
