Just when we thought it wasn't possible for him to get any cooler, Jay-Z opened a pop-up shop in NoLita this week. In an effort to re-image his brand Rocawear, a pop-up boutique opened this past Monday on Mulberry Street, showcasing the label's latest designs. Celebrities, bloggers, students, and the rest of New York's fabulous were invited to come and record their thoughts on the brand's new image. The videos will be posted on Rocawear.com in an attempt to create a customer base that is more "tech-savvy" than the urban audience the brand had previously attracted. Even though this store does not follow normal guidelines (like, for example, none of the merchandise is for sale) you may be able to spot a few of NY's big players popping in and out of Jay-Z's new store. But make sure you check it out soon- it most likely will disappear as quickly as it sprang up.
