Lillian Bassman; Lingerie
Check out an array of work from fashion photographer Lillian Bassman at the Staley-Wise Gallery on its last day of display. The exhibit, featuring experimental reprints of her early work from the 1940s, is based on the late photographer’s book, Lillian Bassman: Lingerie.

Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations
Join the masses at the Met (but go early!) as the museum welcomes visitors this Memorial Day in part with Bloomberg-sponsored Met Holiday Mondays. The Costume Institute’s current exhibition features the comparisons of two legendary Italian designers from their respective eras in fashion history. Drawing inspiration from Miguel Covarrubias' "Impossible Interviews" for Vanity Fair in the 1930s, the exhibit features fictive conversations between Schiaparelli and Prada alongside their signature works.
