Fear not, fellas- there is a NYLON GUYS section as well, which includes ties, funky cufflinks (imagine the faces of Michael Jackson and David Bowie on your wrists), shoes, unique graphic tees, watches, button downs, pomade to perfect that coiff, among many other items.
Brands include Swarovski, Miilla, Doc Martens, Generation Love, Eugenia Kim, Habitual, Folk, Tucker and many, many more! The shop carries unique headphones, cellphone cases, speakers, and also features exclusive custom-made snowboards by Burton Snowboards. You can't miss the bright, glamorous, old school vanity mirror, where you'll find makeup from Smashbox, whose products are famously indelible (well, almost). With so many accessories, clothes and products to choose from, you'll be able to perfect your NYLON cover girl (or guy) look!
Aside from the intimidating security guard stationed at the entrance, we were pleasantly surprised to find the NYLON staff to be incredibly welcoming. New Yorkers are no strangers to fashion snobs walking the streets and working boutiques. Nothing ruins the shopping experience like feeling the impending judgment of standoffish, snooty staff hovering over your every move. Despite exuding the NYLON aura of effortless, urban chic style, the NYLON staff is incredibly approachable; perfecting the balance of being friendly and attentive, while giving shoppers plenty of space to browse and shop.
There is no reason anyone should leave this shop empty handed; all visitors receive a free bottle of Neuro as well as the December/January issue of NYLON, featuring the pretty little cover girl, Lucy Hale.
Be sure to check out this temporary shop in the Meatpacking District for a rare VIP shopping experience while it's still around!
