Ambience
The Williamsburg Bridge isn’t what connects the Lower East Side and Northern Brooklyn anymore. It’s Loreley that does. The execution was conceived with considerable effort yet resulted with an easy-going vibe--as should any biergarten feel. High ceilings, open-air intimacy, exposed wood and brick walls, steel bar, what else does a biergarten need? Oh right, beer. With an impressive all-German beer list featuring dozens of draught selections, it’s no wonder that this Brooklyn bar has become a haven for many. Pilsners like Bitburger, Radeberger, and Jever, plus one of Cologne’s best-known exports: kolsch from the Gaffel and Reissdorf breweries, are both available in traditional European pints. Located directly adjacent to the BQE, Loreley houses an 80 seat restaurant, 10 seat bar and 60 seat patio outfitted with communal tables and brewpub furnishings imported from Germany. Schnitzel your way in!
