Venue Description:
Walking into this hipster hangout and seeing the youngsters dressed in hand-me-down clothing against the backdrop of a 1950s beauty salon is quite a scene. The tiny bar tends to get crowded late night on the weekends. During happy hour, patrons can skip the local Korean shop and head to Beauty Bar for a $10 manicure and drink specials. The back room offers a little less ambiance and more space, it is also where DJs such as The Almighty Burner can be heard spinning soulful tunes and Flying Jimmy, whom there is no cover for, otherwise mixed 80s tunes are played in this Alphabet City bar.

For $10 you can get a delicious martini and a manicure at this landmark beauty salon turned bar & lounge. We’re fond of the Wave No Wave night on Tuesdays.
