Hipster,Restaurant / Bar
Trendy does not begin to describe Suzie Wong. The door staff will give all prospective patrons a fashion once over; needless to say definitely dress to impress. While the space itself is massive, the subdued lighting and couches lined wall to wall makes the space feel more intimate and closer to a lounge. There is a VIP area, but as in most other trendy nightclubs, bottle service patronage is expected.
Eats & Drinks
Besides the extensive Sake list and bottle service that this Oriental spot is known for, Suzie Wong also serves four signature cocktails: The Geisha, The Madame Butterfield, The Ying-Yang and a Fruit Shake infused with seasonal fruits. All Sake bottle service comes complementary with Edamame and Risque fortune cookies while Champagne bottle service comes with complementary strawberries. Those looking for some food will not be disappointed by the offerings of Executive Chef Juan Hurapan. Once again, this hotspot is very culturally infused so expect to see dishes such as stuffed Japanese eggplant or five-spiced spareribs.
The minute you step into Suzie Wong you will have to give them credit for their dedication to a theme: this place maintains a common authentic cultural theme. From the red lighting to the Chinese letters emblazoned behind the bar, you will not mistake this place for any other spot in the city. The DJ usually fills the club with Rap/Reggae/Pop tracks which will keep people entertained all night long.
Celebrities such as Tiffany Pollard, Geri Halliwell, Shana Moakler and Ja Rule have made appearances at Suzie Wong.
