To call this new UES hot spot a sushi bar would be too simplistic. Although an Asian vibe prevails, a grill and sports bar atmosphere also circulates through the air. The hardest part of finding this gem is that its name is only detailed on the 80th Street awning, while the entrance is on the avenue. Chill in the bamboo and tree trunk furniture while puckering your taste buds with a green tea martini. Then watch carefully while your nabe becomes hipper and tipper with every cool cocktail poured at the bar. If you don't have the patience to wait for the busy staff, get there early in the evening.

Chichen Satays and Shrimp Shumai are delicious. Also loe the rolls prepared inside out with caviar on the outside. May be $1 extra, but worth it.

Good lunch special! $10 for two rolls, soup, and salad. Wait staff very friendly.

Brunch specials: $14 for sushi or 2 rolls incl large salad with sweet and tangy dressing on side and 1 cocktail/beer or $17 for hot entree with rice, entree of choice and drink. Great value!
