Venue Description:
One of the few predominantly African-American bars in the oddly white world of the East Village. Though it's nominally a soul food restaurant, it's more a flirt and meet bar with a great strawberry margarita and some nice meatloaf. Watch out on the weekends as the hoardes come for the Friday and Saturday hip hop parties.
