This Thursday, September 19th, Coco & Pollock is launching a new monthly event called “Man Ray Noir: Une Fête Coquette," to be held at Meatpacking hostpot, The Raven. The night is inspired by Man Ray, an American surrealist who spent much of his time in Paris. Like all Coco & Pollock events, it aims to mix Parisian and New York nightlife. Une Fête Coquette, has a film noir theme, emphasizing the glamour and excess of the 1950’s and 1960’s. Commencing at 8pm, and lasting late into the night, New York’s hottest DJs, including DJ Dhundee, Devon C. Johnson, Luka Son of Wolf, and Elle Dee will spin for a crowd of New York’s most beautiful. DJ Consoles are sponsored by Hercules DJ Mixroom.
Enjoy the open bar from 8-9pm, sponsored by Stella Artois, and dance the night away in the modern, upscale atmosphere that Coco & Pollock has to offer. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their sexiest “film noir” inspired looks that evoke the danger and intrigue of the period. According to Coco & Pollock, “The evening’s goal is to transport its attendees into a world of endless possibilities full of the hottest music, excellent liquor, and a unique intermingling of New York and Paris.” The evening will be a nightlife experience not to be missed! It is not often that you get in intimately experience two of the world’s sexiest cities in one evening!
Man Ray Noir will be held at The Raven on 55 Gansevoort St., between 9th and Washington, this Thursday September 19 from 8pm-4am.
