It was ten years ago when Sultan + Ned Shepard crossed paths. Two classically trained musicians hailing from Montreal, have flourished over the years as a successful DJ, producing, and remixing team. The duo has used their immense knowledge of all musical genres to create a melodic blend of rock, pop, and house that has received worldwide acclaim. This Saturday Nov. 17, the pair will show the weekly electronic series, Electric Beach at Santos Party House their originative approach, unrestrictive sound and undoubtedly deliver an unforgettable live set.
On the studio front, they were dubbed by Beatport as the "kings of the progressive scene" as they reached numerous chart-topping productions and remixes including their collaboration with Funkagenda on "Past Dreaming," and "Crimson Sun" featuring Grammy winners Dirty Vegas. Continuing their hot streak, Sultan and Ned collaborated with songstress Nadia Ali, releasing "Call My Name." The track peaked at #5 on the Billboard Dance Chart, #2 on the UK Music Chart and #1 on the Beatport Electro chart. Following up on the success, Sultan & Ned teamed up with Dutch superstar Fedde Le Grand to create the tremendous anthem "Running." Already reaching the Top Ten on Beatport, it has received praise and support from some of the top DJs in the world, including the leader of dance music, BBC Radio One legend Pete Tong.
Having toured extensively across the world, rocking dance floors at festivals, the year ahead shows no signs of Sultan + Ned Shepard slowing down. The duo launched a new residency at XS Nightclub in Las Vegas to showcase their DJ talents.
