When German trance duo Cosmic Gate come to town, New Yorker’s know that they are in for a night full of energy. Making their Pacha NYC debut back in January of this year for the release of their latest album Back to The Future, the pair will be welcomed back with open arms by New Yorkers tonight at the popular house music landmark. Nic Chagall and DJ Bossi have been producing electronic dance music together since 1999, and have a total of six albums together. Back to The Future, their 2011 release is a compilation incorporating Cosmic Gate classics in a newly remixed way. Songs such as 2010 hits Fire Wire and Exploration of Space have a hard bass enriched sound that always keep the crowd jumping. Newest single and instant classic, Raging featuring Jan Johnston is sure to pulsate through the walls of Pacha NYC tonight for sure.
An opening act with a headlining sound, fellow German DJ and Producer, Wippenberg will take the stage of the main floor to warm up the crowd before Cosmic Gate. With popular tracks such as Pong, Phoenix, U R and trance classic Chakalaka, the high demand DJ is one of the most versatile in the business. Olaf Dieckmann, better known as Wippenberg, has had the opportunity to work DJs and Producers throughout a wide range of dance music including everyone from Eric Prydz and Swedish House Mafia to Armin van Buuren and buddies Cosmic Gate. Just recently starting Get Wipped! Records under the Be Yourself Music label, Wippenberg is sure to cue us in on some the hottest remixes in dance music before Chagall and Bossi take the booth.
Tickets for tonight’s event are still available and there is even reduced admission if you enter before midnight. Check out www.pachanyc.com for ticket details.
