Hell's Kitchen Turns To Rock And Roll Heaven Every Thursday At The Hudson Hotel

It isn't often that downtown kids break the 23rd street mark to go out, but every Thursday exceptions are made to get the downtown crew all the way to Hells Kitchen to party in the Library at the Hudson Hotel.

Club Calco brings together Kelle Calco, Tara Foxx, Tommy Hottpants, Nathanial John and Dynamite Dave of "The Party Death," Miss Guy, Ian El Dorado, and guest DJs like Blondie, Nick Zinner of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Josh Madden, Brandon Flowers of The Killers, Vinny Chase of Entourage, PAPER and W Magazine, among many more to "Come play with fire and paint it black. Come dance, little sister, dance with a motley cast of muppets, models, and musicians..." while Ash Fox captures the night in pictures.

The Library of the Hudson Hotel looks straight from Beauty and the Beast with book-filled shelves floor to ceiling and amazing leather couches, but they don't skimp out on the entertainment with bottles, a pool table, chess sets, go go dancers and a corner bar.  The dark atmosphere keeps these kids playing from 11pm until the lights come up with no cover and $5 Jameson specials all night. If you're looking for a change of pace from DJs with endless click tracks and electro beats, make your way to 58th street Thursdays for a night of rock and roll celebrating the truely infection music and "lifestyle of liberation, libation, and celestial satisfaction."

The only rule here: look good or GO HOME.
