The notion that dance music and the DJ revolution is a fad of our generation could just be that. A fad. But at the moment, both are still a thing, a very big thing in fact.  From Ibiza to Miami to right here in our beloved city of NYC, the club scene is thriving more than ever and the city that never sleeps is also about to get in on that "super club" bandwagon. The city is about to get an amenable makeover with the word that a few new hot spots will be opening in the year ahead.

One in particular will be the newest venture and parternship of EMM Group's, Eugene Remm, Mark Birnbaum, and Michael Hirtenstein, and RPM Worldwide's Eddie Dean and Rob Fernandez. The powerhouse forces of the hospitality and nightlife company along with the brains behind the infamous Pacha NYC are introducing FINALE, a 6,000 square foot club that will boast a multi-faceted experience by incorporating avant-garde performers, lined top-to-bottom in tufted blue leather to house a state-of-the-art Void Acoustic sound system along with innovative video and lighting.

Although the club is set to officially open Nov. 8th, it will be christened on Halloween night with the annual bash thrown by Heidi Klum where Questlove, DJ Sinatra and Nervo will each get behind the decks. The grand opening will have DJ R3hab spinning.  The luxe nightclub will be just one of venues at the 20,000 square-foot property, offering guests the ultimate DJ-centric experience with progressive performance elements.199 Bowery will also feature The General, a trendy restaurant serving modern Asian cuisine and occupying prime storefront that stretches across the eighty-foot surface with retractable glass garage-door panels that open up directly into the front café as well as a downstairs performance-style space.

Drawing on one another’s expertise in these areas, the team up to create FINALE further links EMM Group and RPM as trailblazers of NYC nightlife. The partnership couldn't have come at a more prime time as electronic dance music has emerged a genuine nightlife phenomenon. The relationship between the companies will further develop an exciting new era for NYC nightlife. Plans to host many of the top DJs from around the world will take center stage within FINALE’s DJ booth, offering top notch dance music events and shows.

According to PageSix, word has broke that more opening are making their way to NYC. The brains that operate the paragon Ibiza club Space will be opening up an NYC location in a 13,000-capacity venue on 50th Street and 12th Avenue and also, news we've already caught onto is that Dutch superstar, Tiesto may be involved with Strategic Group on the January reopening of Marquee.

Seasons come and go and along with that nightlife goes with it. Whether it's evolving, expanding, or getting a makeover.
