Ever hear of love at first sight? According to the NY Post, residents on West 30th in between Seventh and Eight avenues are seeing love alright, in the form of used condoms and other paraphernalia!

The soiled specimens are believed to be the traces of the patrons leaving Rebel NYC and Parlour Midtown, two clubs that are popular on the weekends.

From the comfort of their $95,000/month apartments, neighbors have convinced the local Community Board 5 to help request a no-parking zone during those specific nights of revelry.

The Community Board, which can’t enforce the parking ban themselves, is petitioning the city to set up new parking laws. These complaints aren’t new to the area “There are all kinds of problematic activity going on, like noise, violence, sexual activity and drug use,” Raju Mann, the chair of CB5’s Transportation Committee said.

Rocco Sergio, a manager at The Parlour, said they are trying to work with the community to fix past problems but claims to no have any idea that people were having all sorts of public sex outside of his club that were keeping up the neighbors. Presently, The Parlour’s liquor license has yet to be renewed by the State Liquor Authority due to multiple violations.

There have been no reports of any flâneur slippage.
