The Pennsylvania Environmental Council and Delaware River Waterfront Corp. have expanded the Kayak program in the Penn's landing Marina for Summer 2010. Paddle Penn's Landing is half -hour introductory program to boating on the Tidal Delaware River. Kayakers (12 years and older) get an overview of basic strokes, are assisted into boats and supervised while they paddle around Penn's Landing Marina. The foot-pedaled swan boats are ideal for those who want a more leisurely experience on the water.
