Situated right on the corner of 12th and Locust, the 5-year-old Bump has firmly locked itself into PhillyÂ's gay community. Serving as a transitory stop, it itÂ's perfect for clientele on their way to or from someplace else. You canÂ't help but feel like your trapped in a Halloween pumpkin with all the bright orange and amber colors. The mixture of attractive gay men and straight women really reaches itÂ's zenith during happy hour, and the looks-but-no-brains staff tends to have issues with speed and memory. Ear-splitting Euro-trash techno is played at all hours of the day, making it impossible to enjoy a dinner; although Bump does provide a substantially satisfying menu.
