Happy Anniversary Dannijo!

Happy anniversary Dannijo Jewels! Just five years ago fashion duo and stylin’ sisters Danielle and Jodie Snyder teamed up to start one of the hottest jewelry lines to hit the red carpet. Worn by celebrities such as Emma Roberts, Sophia Bush, and Natalie Portman, Dannijo is celebrating by releasing a limited-edition capsule collection to be sold exclusively on their website.

Comprised of six pieces, the anniversary collection consists of some of Dannijo’s most celebrated looks. And because of this special occasion, the Snyder sisters have decided to cut us all a little break on the prices. For a limited time, these six pieces will range from $295 to $425, which is quite a bit lower than the brand’s average price line.

SARTORIALLY YOURS
Sinatra in the House!

Tradition and modernity collide with Hackett London's 2014 Spring Menswear line. Debuting just last evening on the London catwalk, this innovative mix of flare and sophistication has already achieved the fashion police’s utmost nod of approval. Inspired by Sixties jet-setters with shades of Frank Sinatra, Jeremy Hackett projects the culture of British elitism and old Hollywood with classic tweed, linen, and wide-rim fedoras.

Fashion Trendsetter: K-Pop Edition

If you haven't heard of K-Pop, then you must have been living under a rock. A whole generation of teens, early to mid-twenty-somethings, have catapulted a culture of upbeat and melodic pop, R&B, and hip-hop hits, paired with stunning visual effects and aesthetics made possible through detailed styling of the wonderful world of high fashion. Like here in America, fashion is always being led by trailblazers who are sitting high at the top of their field. They take chances, set style standards, and above all else, lead the pack. In the heart of South Korea, the K-Pop capital, this is no different.

Ravers, Rockers, and Flower Children

Animal Collective, Guns N’ Roses, these are just some of the iconic names that made their way to The Governors Ball stage this past weekend. But among some of the famous rockers that made their fashion mark through flowered headbands, leather shorts, and crocheted tops, it was the fans that decided to bring the fashion heat.

Coming from all corners of the United States, ravers and rockers glammed up their style even during the torrential downpour that hit the crowd Friday night. Although the weather was not ideal for this special evening, many decided to ditch their ponchos and vamp up their look with a little extra mud. Slip N’ Slide anyone? One fan said, “the rain only made me feel more dedicated. My high-waisted black shorts and metallic bandeau brought out my wild side. The mud was just an added bonus.”

“Flowers in Your Hair” Governors Ball Street Style

"Flowers in Your Hair" seemed not only to be a Lumineers song from Sunday night’s concert but also a trend at the festival this year. Not even Tropical Storm Andrea could stop Governors Ball from happening this weekend. Crowds traded in their Havianas and Nikes for rain boots, thick mud and music. Festival experiences would not be complete or poetic if it wasn’t for the reoccurring fashion trends we constantly saw. Angelic flower crowns and intricate headbands were major, like this one from up and coming accessories designer Heart Shape Hotel. Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros lead vocalist, Jane Castrinos, rocked out on stage while wearing the daintiest string flower crown when the band performed their hit “Home.”
