Transit is a popular multi-level addition to the Philly nightlife scene. The theme of the club centers around transportation--driving, subway, etc.—hence the name “Transit”. Transit never feels like the same club because of its theme nights where the décor is dramatically changed to match the theme. The club offers a breadth of specialty nights, ranging from all-nighters with deep house to black lipstick nights where goth rules to the three-floor Making Time neosoul/Britpop/indie extravaganzas.The pulsating music spun by a world renowned DJ’s, intoxicating atmosphere, flowing cocktails, and the electricity of the stunning crowd will leave clubgoers wanting more. There isn’t just one type of partier at Transit. The crowd changes with the theme of the night, but, be forewarned, if a party isn't planned for that night, the club will be closed.

Transit is housed in what used to be a bank. With its cavernous interior and 3 floors, dancers have plenty of room to bust out their favorite moves. Transit also has six bars and three dance floors. Transit lets the party live on past the normal 2am closing time. DJs are spread out around the club spinning different styles and clubgoers of every stripe line around the block. Warning: the strobe lights, alcohol, and sudden lightening of your wallet may make you dizzy, but Transit promises all a spectacular party experience.
