NIGHT STALKER
Master of the Mix Premiere Party

Late last week, some of our favorite celebs stepped out in New York City to celebrate the Season 3 premiere of Master of the Mix, hosted by Smirnoff Vodka and VH1. Master of the Mix, for those of you who don't know, is a VH1 reality show where DJs battle head-to-head to earn the title of Master of the Mix and a $250,000 grand prize. The premiere party took place at the newly reopened Marquee Nightclub in NYC where guests sipped on signature Smirnoff cocktails, including the Vinyl Collection, The Backspin, and more. The party kicked off with an official welcome from the show's host Amanda Seales, followed by a super trailer of the season. Master of the Mix judge DJ Mia Moretti hit the 1s and 2s accompanied by electric violinist Caitlin Moe, followed by DJ Kid Capri, also a judge on the show. Other celebs in attendence at the event were fashion designers Charlotte Ronson and Christian Siriano, as well as Corey Kennedy, Sway Calloway, and others. Check out the party pics below!

From Steve Angello to Seth Troxler to Luciano, this musical dojo has helped NYC's club scene become one of the best in the world. That being said, 2013 marked the venue's 10th birthday and with that a slew of events to help ring in their turning of double digits.

Erick Morillo To Headline MIXX at Borgata!

World class DJ Erick Morillo is set to perform a live set to fans on Saturday, February 16 at MIXX at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa with special guest Funkagenda. A veteran DJ, Morillo has been in the scene since the early 90s and is best known for his international work in house music. He has been linked with the label Strictly Rhythm and produced the 1993 hit "I Like to Move It," which he produced under the pseudonym Reel 2 Real. His label Subliminal Records has produced the #1 Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play hit "Fun" by Da Mob, and won the Muzik Magazine Remixer of the Year award in 1999.

Party in NOLA With 1OAK

The big game is just around the corner and it's a time where football and partying come together as one. With that said, 1OAK's annual celebration is without a doubt the place to see and be seen. The super hot, celeb studded party is going down on February 2nd at JAX Brewery located at 620 Decatur St. in New Orleans, LA. The night will include music by Mick Boogie and expect nothing short of an amazing party atmosphere. In true 1OAK style, there just might be some surprise performers as well as guests to get the debaucherous festivites going.

Wynn Las Vegas Announces DJ Lineup for Park City Live

Just after announcing its 2013 roster of superstar DJ talent, Wynn Las Vegas is kicking things off this week during the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Wynn is taking over Park City Live, formerly Harry O's, as the prime spot for non-film related entertainment. XS, Tryst, and Surrender nightclubs along with Encore Beach Club present Afrojack, Avicii, Cedric Gervais, Nero and more, January 17-21.


Thursday, January 17 marks the start of the festivities as the Powder Awards after party kicks off with British electronic music sensation NERO. Saturday, January 19, Swedish powerhouse Avicii hits the booth, Sunday, January 20, catch multi-award winning, platinum-selling producer Afrojack, and closing out the week on Monday, January 21, French house music DJ and producer Cedric Gervais, a new addition to the Wynn residency roster in 2013, hits the decks and will be joined for a special performance by hip hop recording artist, 2 Chainz.

Sounds of Reggae

Last week, Brooklyn's Barclays Center hosted a celebration of Jamaica's 50 years of independence with a very special performance. Grammy Award-winning artist Shaggy performed, as well as Ali Campbell's UB40, Beres Hammond, and Maxi Priest all jammed out during the BioLife Sounds of Reggae concert. The concert was the first reggae concert for the Barclays Center, marking a historic milestone for the arena, which is located in a community known for its Caribbean culture.

The artists all performed both past and present hits, including Shaggy's "Boombastic" and Ali Campbell's "Red Red Wine." “Sounds of Reggae brought unprecedented energy to Barclays Center last night,” commented Shaggy. “It was an incredible opportunity to share a part of Jamaica’s culture with Brooklyn, my second home.”

Movember Comes to an End

After a successful Movember launch at Frankford Hall at the beginning of the month, the venue is wrapping up the month of moustaches with an epic closing gala tonight.
