Open since 1949, House of Prime Rib's delicious prime rib makes it one of San Francisco's culinary landmarks. The owners take pride in selecting and preparing the best possible cuts of beef.

Your own personal cut is carved tableside from the iconic stainless steel serving cart. They offer four different types of cuts: The City Cut, the smallest slice; House of Prime Rib Cut, a rather large portion of beef; The English Cut, a thinner slice but still rather hearty; and the King Henry VIII Cut, the biggest and thickest slice for those in need of a lot of beef.  A children’s dinner is also available for guests under eight.  If you're not a meat-lover, a fresh fish option is available daily.

Every beef dish is accompanied with heaping portions of mashed potatoes or a baked potato, Yorkshire pudding, and creamed spinach. Talk about a plate (and belly) full!

To abate the carbohydrate consumption, every table is given a fresh mixture of leafy greens with a tasty house dressing.

Don’t forget to partake in the extensive wine and cocktail list. If you're bold enough to save room, have a goodie from the dessert cart, full of tempting treats that sweetly round out the evening.
