Hip and minimalist, SoMa nightclub/art gallery/lunchtime eatery with a New York vibe, 111 Mina offers a mix of art events, live music and DJs. With music varying from hip-hop to techno and dub, be sure to check out 111 MinaÂ's signature night: Wednesday. While the dancing commences early at 5pm and ends early at 10pm, 111 Minna is a great jumping off spot for a mid-week evening of ribald fun. Lunch hours: Mon-Fri (midday to 4pm). Gallery hours: Tues-Fri (12-5pm).

they throw some interesting events. best was tim leary archive party. i got to hang with his old pals, meet ralph metzner and nobody said "what do you do?"
