If you’ve ever wanted to let loose at the library, here’s your chance. Enjoy a shush-free evening March 18, from 6:30-9 pm, when Friends of the San Francisco Public Library presents IMBIBE, a free, members-only after-hours cocktail party to support the Public Library system.
The first of four IMBIBE events set to take place this year at various library branches around the city, the party kicks off at the Eureka Valley/Harvey Milk Memorial Branch Library. Indulge in snacks from Ike’s Place Sandwiches and an open bar stocked with Blue Angel Vodka and New Belgium beer, as you wander the stacks and get your dance on with real-live sexy librarians.
There’s no studying at this soiree, but plan on getting carded—library-carded, that is—at the door. Current Friends members should RSVP to Imbibe@friendssfpl.org. Others can call join online or call Mary Abler at (415) 626-7512 x107 to learn more. Memberships start at $35.
