Yesterday, LucasFilm announced it would partner with Major League Baseball to raise money for cancer research by holding photo ops, gift auctions, and t-shirt sales. No word yet on whether the Yankees will officially change their name to The Evil Empire.
The effort, which is bringing together Ambassadors Aziz Ansari, Zach Galifianakis, Seth Rogen, and Star Wars alum Samuel L. Jackson (who made a hilarious promotional video), is intended to raise awareness for cancer research, by tapping into a fan base of hundreds of millions around the world. Stand Up 2 Cancer is helping organize a massive campaign bringing together LucasFilm, eBay, and Major League Baseball.
Take a break from the club/bar scene (okay there can still be drinks involved if you want, don't worry) this weekend and hit up a comedy show at the Wilbur Theater!
This Saturday, Parks and Recreation and comedic star Aziz Ansari is making a stop in Boston for the Dangerously Delicious tour. Entertainment Weekly dubbed him one of the 12 faces for the future of comedy, and after hosting the MTV Movie Awards, you're sure to by rolling on the floor after this show!
Here we go again, another rivalry that will surely end in bloodshed, Raaaaaaaandy with 8 a's has announced war on gangster singer Justin Bieber.
Raaaaaaaady's friend, Aziz Ansari (who bears a remarkable resemblance to the comedian) posted the re-enactment on his tumblr. In the video, Raaaaaaaandy explained he was in the studio working on the Raaaaaaaandy mix tape "and Bieber drops by and he [Bieber] was like, I just wana watch ya'll work. Which basically means he wants to come over and smoke all our weed."
