It shouldn't be so hard for celebrities to keep an eye on their digital storage card containing hundreds of intimate pictures. Well, it is pretty hard for Christina Aguilera...
Hundreds of pictures showing the singer partying at Nicole Richie's bachelorette party and in bed with boyfriend Matt Rutler have been discovered on a digital storage card in a French hotel room. The pictures time-stamped between June and November 2010 are also showing Aguilera mimicking oral sex, dancing on tables or smoking cigars.
RadarOnline.com claims they were approached by a man trying to sell the pictures, which were found in a hotel room in France where Aguilera and Rutler spent some time back in 2010.
The singer who had promised to join the social network before the premiere of her new show, The Voice, signed-up Tuesday on Twitter.
Wednesday morning, the @TheRealXtina already had more than 42,000 followers and 35,000 before she sent her firt Tweet.
"Here goes my first Tweet! Brace yourselves... So excited to connect with all my fans here. xo - Xtina"
She later wrote: She later wrote, "Thanks for the welcome to Twitter. I'm getting the hang of this. Never thought I'd say the word 'hashtag'. Pandora's box has been opened."
She was arrested yesterday for public intoxication. Today, her friends are begging her to go to rehab. She has been drinking for months, especially since her divorce from Jordan Bratman. Her current boyfriend, Matt Rutler, seems to like alcohol too, which does not help Christina to slow down her alcohol use.
"Maybe when she was married she was able to keep it under wraps, but it's out in the open now," a source told TMZ.
For the moment, the singer has always refused to check into rehab. Maybe it's time...
The Burlesque actress, 30, and her 25-year-old boyfriend Matt Rutler were arrested at 2:45 on Tuesday morning near a West Hollywood club.
Rutler was driving under the influence and Christina was obviously drank as well. She's been charged for public intoxication and has been released on a $250 bail.
Officials say that she was "extremely intoxicated" and "unable to take care of herself." They also added that "if the driver had not been arrested for DUI, she would have never been in trouble."
She was not herself that night...
The Grammy's are barely an award show anymore. The producers of the "award show" have decided to focus on the live performances during the telecast; there was only one presentation of an award in the first hour of the show.
The first performance of the night was a tribute to the Queen of Soul - Aretha Franklin. The performance featured the quintet of Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, Yolanda Adams, Florence Welch and Martina McBride. The group sang a melody of different songs; each sang well in their tribute to the Queen. After the performance a taped message from the Queen herself (who was noticeably thinner), welcomed viewers to the Grammy's, expressed her thanks to the academy for the recognition,

On a night when one of the best Super Bowl games in recent history was played, there were also musical performances that will probably go down as the worst. To open up the gates, Christina Aguilera messed up the National Anthem. In her rendition, Aguilera repeated an earlier verse, forgetting about "O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming." Most football fans were probably not even bothered, or weren't even paying attention to catch the mess up, but it was noticed by the internet and other forms of social media. After her performance, Aguilera told the Associated Press: "I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through."
100.000 people were watching her last night performing the National Anthem before The Super Bowl kick-off. It was the biggest stage of her life, and she messed it up. Was it the stress? The emotion? The excitement? Probably a bit of all that.
Instead of singing "O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming" she improvised "What so proudly we watched at the twilight's last reaming."
But as a pro, she continued singing one of the hardest songs to perform, without making any other lyrics mistake.
