After reading that Bradley Cooper called being People's Sexiest Man Alive "the worst ever" in an obnoxious failed attempt at being humble and self-deprecating, I had to go on a mission to find the dumbest celebrity quotes. Hey people, don't be sad about your life, turns out not all celebs have everything, and that includes a brain upstairs.
Mariah Carey tweeted a pick of her daughter, Monroe, on Sunday showing she's all ready to fend off the paparazzi. In the snap shot, the little diva's hand is shielding her face. She's barely two months old and already a professional --just like mommy!
There haven't yet been photos of the twins, Monroe and brother Moroccan, born in April; but there is definately hype. Nick Cannon has said how much of an "eye-opening experience" the birth of their children have been, and that these twins are "just the beginning". "Oh dear" Honey B, Nick Cannon's like Winnie the Pooh this season, and we can't wait!
Celebrity stylist, June Ambrose is at it again. This time she has launced her own personal line of turbans that is definitely a trend to rock this summer.
June has provided fierce style for Diddy, Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blidge and a list of others from some time now. She is the go-to person at fashion week and has been seen wearing the flyest “color blocking” outfits all over the city.
Ambrose’s new line of turbans been her own signature look that she has been wearing that encouraged her to start her own line of turbans. The idea to start her own line of turbans came from wearing a turban every night during NY Fashion Week as well as making a statement with every outfit.
Over the weekend, Mariah Carey gave birth today to two healthy babies. The twins, one girl and one boy, weighed in at 5 pounds and 3 ounces and 5 pounds and 6 ounces respectively and are doing extremely well. Mariah Carey and her husband Nick Cannon are overjoyed, as the day was a celebration two-fold.
April 30th, the date of the twins’ birth, is also the couple’s wedding anniversary. Every year of their marriage the two renew their vows to make the day even more special. Now the day is an event that will be impossible to top!
The 42-year-old singer is covering the new Life & Style Magazine. Miss Carey happily accepted to show off her very big baby bump to the world...
In the interview she gave to the magazine, she says, “I was feeling very vulnerable about taking pictures at all right now, but then I didn’t want to miss this opportunity to document this once-in-a-lifetime experience. My ultimate goal was to share this incredibly personal moment with my true fans.”
She added, “The babies were kicking almost the entire time; it was unbelievable. Especially the girl — clearly she’s a diva in training! We didn’t start shooting until 1:30 a.m. because I was in the hospital from the night before until the day of the shoot with contractions five minutes apart!”
"[The babies] almost came on 3/27 … We have a few more weeks 2 go but- wow!!!: )." tweeted Carey on Sunday.
The 42-year-old-singer was briefly sent to the hospital on Sunday during her birthday because she had contractions. Don't worry, she's fine.
And to prove it, she tweeted this morning a picture of a huge butterfly painted on her baby bump, with the capture: "My attempt @ festiveness on 327! Comin soon #dembabies! LYMA+thanx 4 making me happy:)."
Looks like Carey is really enjoying her pregnancy!
What do Mariah Carey, Nelly Furtado, 50 Cents, Usher and Beyonce have in common? They all have performed for the Libyan dictator Muammar Qaddafi and his family.
And after the turmoil in Libya and Qaddafi’s brutality, these stars are all asked to donate the money they received from Qaddafi for their shows to charities.
In 2005, 50 Cent performed at a festival.
In 2007, Nelly Furtado performed a 45 minutes show and received $1 million.
In 2008, Mariah Carey performed for the dictator and his son for New Year's Eve.
Mariah Carey, 41, and husband Nick Cannon, 30, have been very cautious about releasing details about the babies since they have had a "long journey to parenthood" (the pop star had a miscarriage in 2008).
Carey said, “Even before we announced it was twins, I was trying to keep everything gender neutral because I didn’t want to impose an identity on them too soon. There were fan contests on Twitter about what gender they are and rumors about them being two boys or two girls–but nobody guessed this!”
The couple is preparing for the arrival of the babies due late April/beginning of May decorating and designing their nurseries, one in New York and one in L.A. Cannon told People that her wife has been staying active with daily swimming lessons.PETA's new campaign Fur-Free & Fabulous features Lady Gaga, Pink and Mariah Carey, and not because of their amazing voices, but because they have always been against the wear of fur. And the fact that Lady Gaga wore a meat dress at 2010 MTV Video Music Awards doesn't count...
Here's what PETA says of the three singers
"These musical powerhouses have good reason to shun fur—every fur coat, vest, hat, or fur-trimmed accessory causes animals an immeasurable amount of suffering and ends their life. Foxes, minks, rabbits—even dogs and cats—are bludgeoned, stomped, electrocuted, and gassed to death, and many are skinned while still alive. You can help put an end to this unimaginable cruelty by choosing never to buy or wear fur or fur-trim."
The 92.3 NOW show, "Rollin' with Nick Cannon" starring, yes, Nick Cannon had relayed this exciting news. “We are having twins,” he eloquently stated on his radio show.
Guess who found out this news first? President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama! In the midst of discussing pressing world issues, the face of America had time to chat with Mariah and Nick. I mean, come on. These are twins we’re talking about!
