Comedy takes a backseat as tragedy strikes.
TV personality & daredevil Ryan Dunn, who just turned 34 several days ago, has died in a fatal car accident in Pennsylvania, along with another unidentified person. April Margera, Bam's mother, has confirmed with TMZ as well as Preston & Steve's radio show about the incident.
Officer Geiger from the West Goshen Police Department describes that the vehicle flew over a guardrail on Route 322 in West Goshen, PA, slammed into a tree and immediately burst into flames. The incident reportedly occurred at around 2:30-3:00 this Monday morning. Hours later, a tow truck was sent to remove the damaged remains of the car.
So not funny! Reports claim that actor/comedian Tracy Morgan was booed and bashed after a stand-up routine in Nashville, Friday 06/03/11 went out of hand. Comedy patrons were not prepared for the hateful tirade, whether or not he's joking, the 30 Rock star was spewing out against the LGBT community.

Less than 5 years after becoming the first woman to anchor a network evening newscast on her own, Katie Couric is leaving her post at CBS Evening News. Her contract with the network runs through June 4th but no departure date has been announced yet.
The rumor has it that Couric might launch her own syndicated talk show in 2012. It's said that she has been in talks with ABC, NBC, CNN and CBS.
On Monday, a CBS News representative said, "We're having ongoing discussions with Katie Couric. We have no announcements to make at this time. Until we do, we will continue to decline comment on rumor and speculation."
Well, it's just a question of time before Couric announces her departure.
It’s no secret that there’s soon to be a live action adaptation of Wonder Woman for TV that have a lot of people divided. Not since the 70s and The New Adventures of Wonder Woman starring Lynda Carter has there been a show about the Amazonian princess. With the recent premiere of Young Justice and the launch of MAC’s line of Wonder Woman make-up, however, she’s garnered a lot of interest.
This comes as awesome news to fans of her comic books, who recently were also witness to a costume change for Wonder Woman that received mixed reactions. While more practical in many ways, a few found it lacking, and others were just too upset that the original costume was gone in the first place. The rest of us were fine with it, as the change from star-spangled bikini briefs to pants made sense and didn’t grate the eyes.

Since 1956 NBC has been recognized by a peacock mascot and a three-bell jingle. But now with the stepping in of Comcast, the NBC network symbol seems to no longer be needed.
In other words, the birds got to go.
The colorful peacock of NBC became most prominent in 2004 when it symbolized NBC’s complete Universal assets. Since then the peacock surrounded by a circle was another way to display the merging companies of NBC and the Universal spinning planet.
