Miami Beach + some of the biggest names in music. It doesn't get much better than the Orange Drive Music Festival happening Friday December 30th - Sunday January 1st. Ocean Drive between 7th and 9th will be packed with people and entertainment celebrating both the New Year and the Orange Bowl.

It happens every year. You’re tasked with planning the New Year’s Eve outing for you and your crew. However, you did not get around to it, were out of ideas and money, or just wasn’t up to being the party planner. Now it’s the day before New Year’s Eve and everyone’s looking at you with expectations of a good time. Take the pressure off yourself by serving up delicious Rack of Lamb with Asparagus Parmigiano and a tomato fennel salad. I expect to see color blocking in its best, PR companies scrambling to douse the thirst of their celebrity clients and, of course, Grace Coddington and Anna Wintour glaring at the models as they come down the runway. I also hope that the bedbugs that are plaguing New York City stay away from Lincoln Center. It would be a dreadful sight to see the girls bit up and itching as they model next season's collections.
Unless you're abstaining from alcohol completely this New Years Eve, it pays to drink smart. An oxymoron, I know. One can always try. Here are a few ideas.
Tip #1 - Pace Thyself
The most obvious and the most often ignored rule of any prolonged New York New Year's Eve Party, proper pacing is essential to ensure that when midnight comes around you’re kissing your date/stranger of choice/whoever, not hugging a toilet in New York City.
