Who Wears the Pants?

In with the highs, out with the lows! You can kiss your low ride Levi's goodbye! From the runways to the blogs, and most recently the streets, the high-waisted pant is the new "it" item. It has always been a fashion rule for women to primarily wear dresses and skirts to events, however, celebs such as Rihanna and Leighton Meester think other wise. Ladies show off those curves and look chic while doing it. Women normally frown at the thought of wearing hip hugging pants, but once we show you a few of this season's stylish favorites, you'll be thinking other wise.

Drake – “Take Care”

Already making “Headlines” with his swaggering, finger-raising first single, the title track of Drizzy’s newest effort shows the softer side of Mr. Graham. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Bay

Midtown East- specifically the 2nd avenue stretch- is filled with recent graduates and executives of all sorts. Mix in some Halloween and see what happens next!

Nothing says Halloween like a jam packed frat-style party! And Turtle Bay does one thing right when it comes to this demand: deliver. Many of the experienced patrons called ahead and pre-purchased their wirstbands that guaranteed them unlimited drinks between certain hours.

Turtle Bay is much different than that of McFadden's Saloon on a well drenched Thursday. T-Bay offers variation with multiple levels of different music and dance options. There were a few things consistent with each level of the venue: drenched stairs from spilled drinks. And each one of the bars resembled an oasis. Housing the sweet nectar with an ocean of people in your way. When you do finally arrive to the shore of the bar, fresh Bud Lights off tap and mixed cocktails are plentiful.

New Wave Accessory Brands

Because we tend to spend quite a bit of time incessantly jibber-jabbing about what's walking down the mainstreets in high fashion, it's easy to miss the fashion and culture out to play in the side streets. The kind of fashion we're talking about has a booming base in its speakers, and pumped up kicks dressed to impress and ready to party. So we'd like to invite you to meet seven fresh accessory brands you may not have heard of yet.

Onch Movement comes to us via LA as a choice accessory brand for young hot Hollywood stars like Kate Moss and Paris Hilton. It probably has the most delicious designs on our list because the pieces feature every delectable treat from friend chicken and bacon, to pill candies and ice cream. In fact, you've probably already seen said ice cream around the neck of Nicki Minaj as apart of her MTV VMA "ensemble" a few short months ago. The Onch Movement ice cream cone was in everyone's mouth the next day, so to speak, but it's only a small portion of what the brand has to offer.

Rihanna Channels Skinhead in 'We Found Love' Music Video

Rihanna released her much-anticipated video clip for her latest single, 'We Found Love,' yesterday. The single is the first track to be released for her sixth studio album, 'Talk That Talk' which comes out on November 21. Despite the general uplifting nature of the song, the Barbadian songstress's video is everything but that. One could guess that she decided to focus more on the hopeless place that she found love in rather than deal with the expected theme of love.

Inside the Genius of 7D's CEO Sasha Devic

After the whirlwind of parties- from the Cannes Film Festival, to New York Fashion Week’s Official Party, (should we also mention the Milan Fashion Week’s Party- voted #1 party in Milan), it’s a wonder that Sasha Devic, one of the world’s leading event planners and CEO of 7D, has any energy left to sit down and have a chat with Joonbug. Luckily for us, even with his hectic schedule, he lets his passion for nightlife fuel and inspire him. Who knew that the young Sasha Devic (He’s turning 25 this weekend ladies)- a former pro basketball player, hailing from Sarajevo, could have accomplished so much in so little time? The answer: He did.

How to Rock the Sock Trend

The questions that arise and haunt you while you’re getting dressed infamously affect your wardrobe decisions; exasperated sighs from irritated boyfriends; and harsh reprimanding from whoever you’re late to meet this time. But we understand, even if no one else does. The woes of the fashion conscious are innumerable. Risk doesn’t always bring reward. And playing it safe can leave your ensemble feeling underwhelming. One intimidating trend that seems to have this affect on women is socks with shoes – [insert dramatic instrumental].

Gracing the British Vogue’s cover for the November issue and looking fashion forward yet again.

In the November issue, the “California King Bed” singer vividly explains her view on being a role model in the world. The singer says, “See, people -- especially white people -- they want me to be a role model just because of the life I lead."

She goes on to say, "The things I say in my songs, they expect it of me and being a role model became more of my job than I wanted it to be. But no, I just want to make music. That's it”

Rihanna Releases Dance Track

Twitter has been abuzz with the much anticipated release of Rihanna's newest single. Today at 9 a.m. EST "We Found Love" took listeners by storm. We knew it was going to be a dance track, but no one was prepared for this beat.

As far as pop music goes, that Rihanna reign just won't let up. Now she's going to make moves into the Dance genre. In comparison to some of the ballads and dark melodies on "LOUD", the new track, "We Found Love" aims to please club heads and pop-boppers alike.

Featuring Calvin Harris, this song is the perfect introduction for Rihanna's new album. It has everything for this era of music. It will be available on iTunes this afternoon and will undoubtedly be on replay throughout the day.

The single artwork is underwhelming compared to the track. This fan can only assume it was to disguise how potent the track really is.

Chris Brown Still a Douche

Why do we even keep this guy around?

Chris Brown, once upon a time, was one of the most popular and kid-friendly music sensations on the planet. The world was his oyster; that is, until that night news spread about the infamous Rihanna beatdown. Now, most ladies (as well as most men) see him as nothing more than an angry, pathetic guy with a lot of issues. And as implied by Rihanna, he also suffers from being not-so-blessed in certain areas down under. Maybe that's why he's always so moody?

Nowadays, Chris Brown seems like a completely different person. He bleached his hair, he cusses more frequently, his once adorable persona has transformed into an angry dude in a class similar to Naomi Campbell and Charlie Sheen...and of course he causes a ruckus almost everywhere he goes. Whether he's yelling at people or throwing objects across the room.
