A LIST PARTIES
There may be a lot of controversy between the US and UK over the show SKINS making it's way on to MTV, but whether or not you like the show, you would have LOVED the party.
A secret location only revealed to RSVPers through signing up on the site, party kids from 16+ showed some skin for MTV at a warehouse party in Brooklyn this past Friday to celebrate the show's premiere.
Complete with all the essential rave supplies (IE rainbow facepaint and glow sticks), party goers caught performances by Rusko, Sleigh Bells, Klever, Drop The Line, and Kill The Noise, plus endless amounts of comp'd alcohol and dancing. The doors were tight as capacity was around 1000 and press obviously caught drift of the MTV sponsored event and snatched up most of the passes, but the party still raged on til late, late night with stars and it kids alike.
The fabulosity that is contained in Avenue (the club that resides on the corner of 17th and 10th Avenue, in the most accessibly glamour puss of neighborhood—the Meatpacking District) actually derives from its behavior as somewhat of a recluse among its fellow nightlife fixtures. It’s as flashy in appearances as any other of its kind: an overall darkened golden tone, dim lights beneath, and shiny, woody layered architecture, yet there is an inexplicable well-nigh volume of geeky chic. It’s a notion to be recognized after your third visit or so, but its geeky chic at its most stylized with lots of black and shiny ensembles and from a crowd that feels as if Avenue belongs to them.
Come dance the night away TONIGHT at SoHo Grand for the Neon Trees afterparty, hosted by Grand Life. You may/may not have tickets to their SOLD OUT show at Webster Hall, but regardless, everyone loves a good after party!
Come hang with the gang of Neon Trees, with DJ sets by Tyler Glenn and David Pacho as all the cool kids get down at SoHo Grand. The party starts at 11pm and knowing them, it goes until tomorrow.
Aura, one of the hot spots in Studio City has hit the map as a great venue for music, dancing, food, and fun, attracting celebrities and trendsetters since it's birth in 2004.
A favorite from anyone to Ashlee Simpson to Bruce Willis, Aura has live music Wednesdays and 80s live covers Thursdays, plus comedy showcases Fridays and Saturdays. The drinks are cheap and the cover is anywhere from free to $20, making your night even better! Kick back and see some of your favorite local bands, or dance the night away to Top 40, which ever you prefer, Aura has it covered!
With a killer view and bi-level party space, the VooDoo Lounge at the Rio feels nothing like witchcraft.
Half indoors and half out, you can take in the scenery of the Vegas strip from the 50th floor, and even reserve the entire balcony to yourself if you're feeling like a true VIP. The best part to me about VooDoo is the open bar packages they offer. Starting at only $75, you can get front of the line entry, and open bar from 10pm-close with anything from domestic beers, wine, hard liquor, and even Red Bull drinks (we all know this NEVER happens). VIP bottle packages start at $200 including a bottle, mixers, seats, and gratuity, so you can party like the best of them all night long, 7 days a week! Check out deals and make reservations here
The Bank at The Bellagio has that "wow factor" that all the clubs on the Strip are seeking, but few find. It's a multi level megaclub with tall booths, glass deco, multiple bars, and plenty of space for VIPs. Dress your best, because entry for The Bank is strict, letting in only the best of the best in the freshest clubwear. Serving to a higher end clientele, most of The Bank is designed for the VIPs that want bottle service, but there's plenty of room on the huge dancefloor for those just club hopping for a night.
We know everyone's got a little "rainy day" cash stocked up, so break into your piggy bank and experience a VIP style night at The Bank!
The first privileged child of SBE and Bolthouse Productions, Area steps up the class in LA to battle with some of the best clubs in the city. From the likes of Hyde Lounge, Privilege and Lobby Supper Club, Area is almost always at capacity with the best looking socials and celebrities, so dress your best but don't expect to enter even if you're on the list. Early arrival gives a better chance, and maybe even a spot on one of their lush couches.
With two doors, a dance floor, premium bottle service, and an outdoor patio, Area feels private and posh, the perfect spot for a night out in LA.

A is For A-List
Friday night fashion and beauty lovers headed over to the 3LD Art and Technology Center for fragrance, film, and six signature cocktails to celebrate Six Scents' third series launch. The scent collection pairs artists and designers, this time along with film makers, to create a scent based around a theme ("Innocence to Experience"). A portion of the proceeds go to War Child International, and only 3,000 bottles are produced to be sold in 220 retailers worldwide (Opening Ceremony, The Standard Hotels, Lucky Scent, Colette, among others).
This year the party was hosted by Ohne Titel, Rad Hourani, Mary Katrantzou, Tavi Gevinson, Rainer Judd, and Alia Raza. The fragrances, "Beau Bow" by Alexis Mabille and Rodrigo Flores-Roux, "Trompe L'Oiel" by Mary Katrantzou and Shyamala Maisondeau, "Can't Smell Fear" by Juun J and Natalie Gracia - Cetto, "Ascent" by Rad Hourani and Christophe Raynaud, "#087" by N.Hoolywood and Stephen Nilsen, and "M" by Ohne Titel and Yann Vasnir are all unisex scents, and include a box set with a portrait of the designer done by the artist and DVD of a film inspired by the transition from innocence to experience.
Ever since I heard Kim Kardashian's new single (?) yesterday, I've had Kardashians on the brain (okay, I watch their show too and secretly wish I could be a part of their family). Luckily, my two favorites, Kim and Kourtney will be "taking" Pacha on Tuesday, November 9th! Filming LIVE for their new show, "Kim and Kourtney Take New York," this 19+ event will hopefully give you a glimpse at these bootylicious babes and maybe give you your 30 seconds of fame. Dress your best and prepare for a tough door, but regardless, get ready to dance the night away with resident DJs Ruckus and Toro. With E! on board there are sure to be tons of celeb appearances, this is not a night to miss!
