Yesterday afternoon, pop superstar and American Idol winner Kris Allen came to Robert Frost Middle School in Los Angeles to kick off Starburst's Music With The Masters Series; which benefits the VH1 Save The Music Foundation. The first of three events held in various cities over the coming months included Allen performing his hit single "Live Like We're Dying" with the school band and walking them on a tour through his musical history.
The presentation also featured Allen covering some of his favorite songs throughout time (including Coolio's "Gangstas Paradise" and to "keep the crowds interested," "Baby One More Time" by Britney Spears). He capped the presentation by performing his new hit "The Vision of Love." To top off the event, in conjunction with Starburst, he donated the piano used in both music video and his performance to the school. Overall, the event served as a great kick off to the series in conjunction with which Starburst is donated $250k to the VH1 Save The Music Foundation.
It's a boy!
The United States of Tara star gave birth to a baby boy Friday in Australia.
A rep for Collette told press, "Toni Collette, her husband David Galafassi and their daughter Sage Galafassi are excited and proud to announce the arrival of their baby boy, Arlo Robert Galafassi."
The happy couple also released a statement that reads, "He was born on Good Friday, making it the greatest Friday, indeed!”
Colette and musician Dave Galafassi have been married since 2003.

The Summer Of '69 hitmaker and his assistant are expecting a baby together due in May.
The 51-year-old singer tweeted: “Alicia Grimaldi and I are expecting a baby. She helped me start my foundation years ago and it looks like she’ll be running the family now! Thanks for your support and kind messages, we appreciate it greatly.”

Katy Perry showed up with her mom, her grand mom (who just turned 90) and hubby Russell Brand on the red carpet at Sunday's 53rd Annual Grammy Awards. And it seems that the California Gurl mother really wants to be called grandma!
"Russell loves kids. I just can't wait for them to have babies. Grandma, here we come!" Mary Hudson told People.
According to her, they make a great couple but she wonders -and so do us- how they manage to keep this relationship working given their crazy schedules.

Cynthia Nixon and her fiancée Christine Marinoni welcome a son Max Ellington Nixon Marinoni on Monday. Marinoni is the birth mom and according to Nixon's rep, "Christine and the baby are doing great."
The two women have been together since 2004 and they announced their engagement during a rally for same-sex equality in New York in May 2009.
"We could go to Canada, and we could go to Connecticut, and we could even go to Iowa, but we don't want to," the actress said at the rally. "We want to get married right here in New York City, where we live, where our kids live."
Actress Christina Applegate, 39, and her fiancé Martyn LeNoble, 41, welcomed their first child last Thursday.
"Actress Christina Applegate and fiancé, musician Martyn LeNoble, welcomed daughter Sadie Grace LeNoble on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011, in Los Angeles. Mother and daughter are doing great." told Applegate's representative in a statement.
A source close from the happy parents added: "She's a beautiful little girl, and they are so happy and in love with her."
The couple has been dating for nearly 3 years before getting engaged last Valentine's Day.

According to the latest issue of Star Magazine, Aniston has "signed and sealed" the adoption papers for a Mexican baby. Do not believe a word of it!
Jen's reps immediately denied the rumor: "It is completely false. Jennifer is not adopting a baby from Mexico, nor does she have a nursery in her home and she has not hired a nanny. It is all a work of fiction."
